If most of you have been following what little Super Smash Bros 4 news there is like I have, you'll have undoubtedly found out about the series creator Masahiro Sakurai saying that they aren't going to include cut-scenes or anything like Subspace Emissary in the game.

His reason for such butthurt move? (try to imagine this sentence in a whiny voice)That fans of the game posted the scenes online and that it totally "ruined the experience" of unlocking the scenes in the game! Really Sakurai? That's your reason? Well if that's your defense, it's a pretty bullsh** response. I mean HOW WAS ANYONE SUPPOSED TO KNOW THAT!? You NEVER said to anyone that you didn't want anyone to post the cut-scenes online, so there was NO POSSIBLE WAY that anyone would have known that they were guaranteeing that they wouldn't get any story in the next game! If you want to spread the message about what something means to you, you don't punish them and then tell them what they did after they did it! You're supposed to TELL THEM BEFORE THE GAME IS RELEASED about what it means to you and that you would like it if they respected that. Tell people this stuff BEFORE anything were to happen and it won't. People do this and it works. Take Doctor Who for example. Through some way or another, Amazon Prime users got access to the final episode of the seventh season before that episode even aired on TV. The writer of the show Steven Moffat asked all the fans to keep quiet about the episode so that no one would be spoiled, and if they they did keep quiet, he would give them a special interview with the two main actors for the upcoming 50th Anniversary special. And what happened? THEY KEPT QUIET! No videos of the episode were posted online, no forums were made, it was like it never happened. And Moffat kept on his promise and gave us the intereview.

Lesson here Sakurai? Tell people these things BEFORE it happens so that it WON'T happen. If you just assume that everyone is going to understand and share your philosophy without even stating it, you're been on your high-horse a little too long. If something is released, people will post it. It's how the world works. Unless you tell them expressly that you would prefer that they don't do that, then TELL THEM DAMNIT! Don't go and wait until the next game and say "Oh yeah, because you guys did this without me saying I didn't want you to, I'm not going to give this to you. Trolololololo!" That just makes you look like an egotistical bastard.

Now with that said, I'd thought I would see a lot more people like me upset about this, but everywhere I look, everyone is being so freaking passive about this! I've never been this disappointed in my life, as not only the creator of the game, but the fans themselves are treating this like it's no big deal. This is going to be on the freaking Wii U for Pete's sake! Are you telling me you DON'T want to utilize this technology to its fullest potential!?

With that said, if you are as passionate as I am about this, here's a petition that could really use the signatures and signal boosts to spread the message and get it through Sakurai's thick skull.

I don't know if it will do much, but it beats just sitting here and taking it.

Be sure to tell me what you think about this whole thing in the comments, and if you don't think this is such a big deal, you'd better be ready to convince me, because small things like this mean a lot to me, that's the kind of person I am. I'm not going to go all bat-sh** crazy on anyone, but I would like to hear better reasons than "Subspace Emissary wasn't that great" or "I liked the Melee version better".

Yup, it's back again! You know it, you broke it, you love to loathe it, the hateful bill that would have shut sites such as youtube, facebook, and even our beloved deviantart, has arisen from the ashes ONCE AGAIN to infringe on our basic human rights in the hopes of giving government officials and overbearingly huge corporations even more money than they already have. I'm talking of course about the malevolent Stop Online Piracy Act, or as I like to call it, the Stop Online Privileges Act.

You may have heard of it from way back in 2012. Well how could you not? Big sites like Wikipedia, Google, and Youtube participated in a 24-hour blackout in protest of the bill. If it was passed, it would have censored huge parts of the Internet and made lawsuits and arrests about as common as coming across what everybody's dog left behind during a daily walk. However, thanks to the combined efforts of popular websites and basically every Internet user in THE WORLD, the bill never got passed and faded into obscurity...

Well, sort of.

You see, SOPA never really went away. Since 2012, a bill in some shape or form made to restrict online liberties with the vague goal of cracking down on online piracy has been proposed to Congress time and again, each one with a different name and different words, but ultimately the same goal with slightly differing methods. Such aliases for this bill were SOPA, PIPA (Protect IP Act), CISPA (Cyber Intelligence Sharing and Protection Act), and possibly countless others that sneaked their way into consideration without us knowing! Now once again, SOPA is trying to return "for real" this time, only with a couple of revisions, or rather, "additions" to it's already draconian policies.

These additions would allow the government to make the streaming of any sort of copyrighted material a felony, and the uploader and artists who made the video will get sentenced for FIVE YEARS in prison. That's right, your favorite youtubers that you've subscribed to would be liable to become inmates with rapists, serial killers, and terrorists. You know, people who actually did real harm to people and the world!!

But this doesn't apply just to videos! Oh no, the same goes to people who've written fan fiction, sang a cover of their favorite song, and even drawn FAN ART! That's right people. You, me, everyone on Deviantart, we're ALL in danger of being arrested! And for what!? Expressing our love for things that we already spend hundreds and hundreds of dollars on!? Oh yeah, that's a real crime alright, lock me up!

And seems not even celebrity artists are safe from this monstrosity. Under the laws proposed by SOPA, Justin Bieber would be thrown in federal prison for five years just because he posted videos of him singing his favorite Michael Jackson songs on Youtube. Yes, Justin Bieber would be locked up for half a decade, and not for the reasons that you would probably be hoping for (personally, I don't hold any hate for the guy, but back to the topic!).

So with overly paranoid censorship laws, ridiculous definitions of copyright violations, and extremely steep super-harsh penalties for the most common of Internet activities, you've gotta be wondering: Just WHO exactly does this benefit anyway!? The answer would be Hollywood, record industries, and pretty much every huge corporation that tries to make money off of you (Coca Cola, McDonalds, Nintendo, etc.). This ensures that they have DIRECT CONTROL over the distribution of their content and what you see, hear, and pretty much have access to. It's like they tie strings to you, throw you in a maze, post a bunch of signs telling you where to go, close off every sort of path that leads to something other than their product, and attach a shock collar to your neck that zaps you anytime you even think about doing anything else. You've heard about those conspiracy theories about microchips attached to our brains that fill our heads with advertisements? Well, basically call this Step 1 in that process!!

Jokes aside though, it seems that this is yet another case of big businesses having a firm hold on government, which makes the idea that the Obama Administration is even considering this even more disappointing. In 2012, President Obama said himself that he was against SOPA and thought that it was unconstitutional, but now that the election is over and there's no further terms in the future, he's practically caving in to peer pressure from the big kids! Now I like Obama. So far he's my most favorite president yet, seeing as how I didn't live before the Bush era. But when I see weak moments like this from one of the most powerful people on the planet, I've suddenly realized how terrible of a job being President is. I really hope that he does something right and does everything in his legal power to keep this bill from passing, but only time will tell.

So now that this has been addressed, I just want to say that if we don't do something now, the Internet, and possibly the World as we know it, will never be the same again, and NOT for the better! If SOPA wins, we all lose! People like the Nostalgia Critic and the Angry Video Game Nerd will be arrested for streaming content, fan artists like Jitterbug Jive will be convicted for creating work based off of (sorry, "stolen from") not one but two copyrighted sources, and fan fiction writers will be punished for writing what they want to happen in the stories of their favorite book or movie! Not to mention, all of those like myself who haven't uploaded anything onto Youtube yet will be entering a risky business once we do. We would be dooming an entire generation after us if we let this happen. You, your brothers, sisters, cousins, friends, children, and everyone in the world past and present should be allowed to express themselves anywhere they go, even and especially on the Internet!

So if you want to make a difference and STOP SOPA FROM EVER BECOMING A REALITY, sign the petition in the link below. It will require you to make an account, but it's honestly worth signing this petition and never coming back again, unless something even more important comes up. It needs at least 100,000 signatures in order to get a response from the White House and it might have already reached that quota by now, but getting MORE SIGNATURES WILL DEFINITELY HELP! Please don't let posting videos of kittens reenacting Star Wars become illegal. That's just cruel.

Also, if you want more info on SOPA and it's EVIL, search "SOPA 2013" on Youtube and click on most of the videos on the first page, the ones on the top are really choice!

To quote one of my most cheesy childhood heroes, "THE POWER IS YOURS." So let's prove our power and save the Internet!!

Updated: Forgot to mention this (it's the reason of the title). What REALLY bugs me about this is that the people trying to get this bill to pass were trying to propose it without anyone noticing. They were counting on us all being so distracted by all the things in the world, such as the economy, the Travon Martin case, Obamacare (for like the billionth  time!!),...the Royal Baby, so that they could get this passed before we could even notice! Man, they must really have no clue how the Internet works after all.

Anyway, now that the petition has reached it's goal, I'm hoping that in the next coming weeks/months, we'll finally see some news coverage and Obama will finally reveal his actual stance on the bill. I need some answers darn it!

Yes! I've finally done it!! After spending weeks and weeks stressing over the detail over my reference work, I've finally sent an e-mail to Tracy Yardley! for a commission of my fan character!!! I've been working on at least 5 different drawings for him to reference off of, each one inked and colored with the greatest of care. I've found out about his open commissions weeks ago, and I've been working on them ever since. Now that I've got them attached to the e-mail I just sent him, all I have to do is wait for that reply e-mail to really get things rolling. I'm not gonna lie, it'll probably take a while, considering the recent update he gave about his commissions. Hopefully I won't have to wait any longer than one month, cause by then I'll start loosing my mind.

But no pressure Tracy! I will eagerly await your reply, and I will not sleep, I will not eat, I will not even bathe until I see that e-mail!.....okay, maybe I won't actually do all that, but I'll still check every day or so for that e-mail.

I've scanned the images I made, but I won't post them until this is all over (not taking any chances since....LAST TIME......). Wish me luck guys! ^^

NO, not the game! (good game by the way) I'm talking about Doctor Who. Those of you may remember that when the Tenth Doctor, portrayed by the ever brilliant David Tennant, had to regenerate, the Ood played for him a song called "Vale Decem", which is latin for "Farewell Ten". Now, in case you haven't been keeping up, the current actor of the (Eleventh) Doctor, Matt Smith, has just confirmed that he will be leaving the show and the Doctor will regenerate at the end of the Christmas Special this year. While this saddens me greatly, considering how I feel I just started with the guy, for the first time ever, I get to partake in the speculation of "WHO will be the next DOCTOR?" Number Twelve is definitely a big number, since after this, the Doctor only has ONE regeneration left, and he can't afford to loose his lives when the Universe still needs him more than ever. Now lot's of people have been speculating even before Matt Smith's departure was announced, but this announcement had pretty much gotten everyone on board by now. Everybody has their little theories, preferences, and hopes as to who the 12th Doctor is going to be, while others who have seen the Season 7 finale are wondering just how actor John Hurt fits into all of this. Some are hoping for the guy from Sherlock since he's...well, British I guess (haven't really watched too much of the show, but it looks good), others are hoping for Rupert Grint who played Ron from Harry Potter because he's...well, ginger, and we all know how much the Doctor would love that. And of course there are the fans who are still waiting for either a black Doctor, a female Doctor...or both! Some may even be hoping for an older Doctor again. As for me though, I have always hoped that ANDREW GARFIELD would take the role. The guy's already appeared in one episode (well, two technically, but one story) and has of course appeared in a dozen movies, most famously The Social Network and The Amazing Spider-Man. He has clearly shown the ability to portray a smart, clever, intelligent, and funny character, while at the same time being able to convey a dark side to them as well, all of which is important for portraying the Doctor. Oh yeah, and he's also British...that's probably worth mentioning too. If this happens, which I PRAY TO GOD IT WILL, that would make this the youngest looking Doctor since Matt Smith, David Tennant, and Peter Davison. Sure, he'll just barely be above the teen look, but he's only one year younger than Matt Smith, and I would really like to see him play a slightly more hyper and darker version of a British Peter Parker with a space/time traveling Police Box. I haven't seen too many people share this thought, but I am starting to see some emerging from the shadows. But what the heck! This is a free universe. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, and I'd like to hear yours. Leave a comment and tell me whether or not you agree to my theory and/or if you have a different candidate in mind. Just be sure to tell me exactly who they are, who they've played, and exactly what that is, since odds are I will probably recognize NONE of the people you bring up, since I don't know too many British actors...unless you think an American can handle it, but that's a tough one to touch. So, thoughts?
